But Mac users who do not have Mac OS X 10.7 installed, can use Norton AntiVirus 11 and Norton Internet Security 4 which will be included in the same installer disk images.

Also Symantec is integrating with the same licensing infrastructure that Windows products use.

This allows the developer to make renewals and upgrades a much smoother experience, so that Users will be able to manage all the Norton product licenses from a single web page as well.

The most most obvious change in Norton Internet Security 5 and Norton AntiVirus 12 for Mac is new look and feel, which echoes the design and feel from Norton Internet Security product for Windows.

The new iconography and related functionality makes for a much easier user experience.

The famous windows product feature Norton SafeWeb is added to o browser toolbar.

In addition to offering a new Safe Search toolbar that provides at-a-glance security profiles for your search results, it provides visual feedback on any web search you do to tell you whether or not a website is safe and secure.

This is based on Norton phishing protection, which scans and analyzes web pages for threats, and lets you know when a website is safe, not only in terms of computer threats, but if the site has any issues with Ecommerce and identity threats.

It will even let you know if the sites email and other communications practices are annoying or not New features of Norton Internet Security 5 and Norton Antivirus 12 for MacOS X 10.7: 1 Mount Scan: scans the files from inserted CDDVD or thumb drive only when they are opened.

Because your Public Beta keys will not be stored with your Purchased Subscription keys, and your Retail Keys will not be available in the Public Beta version of Norton Account.
